Meet Our Leadership Circle

Amanda Moore

CEO & Co-Founder

Mrs. Moore has 21 years of real estate experience. Mrs. Moore began her career as an underwriter, underwriting debt for Starwood Property Trust, the largest Mezzanine REIT in the U.S., and then as a capital raiser for Starwood's notable opportunistic global funds, covering Asia and U.S. institutional investors. She is the first in Starwood history and the private equity industry to raise capital from Vietnam. Mrs. Moore was also a Managing Director, and the highest-ranking woman at Unison Investment Management, a credit real estate firm focusing on securitization and secondaries. Mrs. Moore worked as an advisor to Cox, Castle, Nicholson and its real estate clients, to review and advise on their real estate investments over the course of 10 years.

Mrs. Moore is a board member on the education committee of the largest all-women membership financial nonprofit, 100 Women in Finance, whose mission is to solve the underrepresentation of women in finance. She also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Venice for 12 years, tutoring kids from low-income families and raising money for their annual Fall Gala. Mrs. Moore volunteers and assists her father in his nonprofit legacy project: developing free housing in unincorporated land in Los Angeles County.

Mrs. Moore studied Biological Anthropology (B.S.) in her undergraduate study at UCLA. She completed Pepperdine University’s BSM and MBA programs, focusing on Corporate Finance, graduating Betta Gama Sigma – and has taught classes in their Executive MBA program. Mrs. Moore sits on Aurora Peak’s Investment Committee.

Holly Danko

COO & Chief People Officer & Head of Compliance

Ms. Danko is the Chief People Officer of Aurora Peak and co-lead’s Aurora Peak’s DEIB Committee. She is an experienced executive in the startup, fintech, and high-growth space.  Most recently, as Chief People Officer at Unison, Ms. Danko led the People Function, Corporate Fundraising, and Board/Shareholder relations growing the company by 7x. She is also passionate about giving back to the community through her volunteer efforts at Cat Town and Lasagna Love in Oakland, CA, and as a Board Director at 1,000 Dream Fund - a non-profit empowering high-school and college-aged women. 

Ms. Danko holds a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Maryland, and numerous certifications including SHRM-SCP.

Prescilla Gines

Head of Fund Accounting & Investment Operations

As Head of Fund Accounting and Investment Operations, Ms. Gines is responsible for all fund operations and investor reporting, as well as the management company's financial reports and budgeting.  She has been in the alternative investment space for nearly 10 years, working for hedge funds such as Cerebellum Capital and Passport Capital in fund accounting, and then leading investment operations for firms such as ICONIQ Capital and Unison Investment Management.  

Ms. Gines attended the University of San Francisco (“USF”), where she received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Financial Analysis. At USF, she became a member of Alpha Phi Omega, the largest collegiate service fraternity in the U.S. She also participated in volunteer opportunities at Glide Memorial SF, Dress for Success SF, and Food Banks of Concord and San Francisco.

Prescilla Gines

Lu Dong

Director of Finance & Controller

Ms. Dong serves as the Director of Finance & Controller and is responsible for property level financial reporting at Aurora Peak. She previously served as Senior Real Estate Accountant at CBRE, Inc., leading financial reporting initiatives and commercial real estate accounting. She has also served as Property Accountant at Platinum Realty, managing the financial statements for a portfolio of low-income housing and commercial properties.

Ms. Dong holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English (International Economics and Trades) with a minor in Finance from Sichuan International Studies University in China. While studying accounting, she volunteered at the community center preparing tax returns, gaining practical experience and helping residents in her spare time. She obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2021.
