Amanda Moore

Mrs. Moore has 21 years of real estate experience. Mrs. Moore began her career as an underwriter, underwriting debt for Starwood Property Trust, the largest Mezzanine REIT in the U.S., and then as a capital raiser for Starwood’s notable opportunistic global funds, covering Asia and U.S. institutional investors. She is the first in Starwood history and the private equity industry to raise capital from Vietnam. Mrs. Moore was also a Managing Director, and the highest-ranking woman at Unison Investment Management, a credit real estate firm focusing on securitization and secondaries. Mrs. Moore worked as an advisor to Cox, Castle, Nicholson and its real estate clients, to review and advise on their real estate investments over the course of 10 years.

Mrs. Moore is a board member on the education committee of the largest all-women membership financial nonprofit, 100 Women in Finance, whose mission is to solve the underrepresentation of women in finance. She also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Venice for 12 years, tutoring kids from low-income families and raising money for their annual Fall Gala. Mrs. Moore volunteers and assists her father in his nonprofit legacy project: developing free housing in unincorporated land in Los Angeles County.

Mrs. Moore studied Biological Anthropology (B.S.) in her undergraduate study at UCLA. She completed Pepperdine University’s BSM and MBA programs, focusing on Corporate Finance, graduating Betta Gama Sigma – and has taught classes in their Executive MBA program. Mrs. Moore sits on Aurora Peak’s Investment Committee.
